1. Data controller

2. What we collect
• Account data: your name and email (and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile name, email and picture).
• Fix data: the device type and problem description you submit, and the fixes generated for you.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation and limited metadata, never your full card number.
• Usage data: basic analytics such as pages visited, to help us improve the service.
3. Why we use it (lawful bases)
• To provide the service you request (performance of a contract).
• To process payments and prevent fraud (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
• To improve and secure the service (legitimate interests).
• To send service messages. Marketing emails only with your consent, which you can withdraw anytime.
4. AI processing
To generate a fix, your device type and problem description are sent to our AI provider to produce step-by-step guidance. We instruct providers not to use your content to train their models where that option is available. We do not ask you to include personal information in your problem description, and recommend you don't.
5. Sharing
We share data only with trusted processors who help us run the service (e.g. cloud hosting, our AI provider, and Stripe for payments). We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Some processors may be located outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or adequacy decisions.
7. Retention
We keep account and fix data for as long as your account is active, and as needed for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email hello@fastfix.it.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
